Video has always been a passion of mine, from writing and pre-prouction to editing and post-production. Here is a look at some of my previous projects.
The Lost Art of Animated Title Sequences A video I created for my YouTube channel, exploring the history of animated title sequences in Hollywood movies. Script by me, shot by me using a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, and edited by me using DaVinci Resolve. The thumbnail was created by me using Adobe Photoshop.
Product Review: Teenage Engineering's PO-80 A video I created for my YouTube channel, testing out the features of a product made by Teenage Engineering. Script by me, shot by me using a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, and edited by me using DaVinci Resolve. The thumbnail was created by me using Adobe Photoshop.
IMPACT A video I edited to test out brush effects in After Effects. It is comprised of footage of Rodney Mullen skateboarding. My two goals with this were to 1) animate the skateboard and its impacts, and 2) sync Rodney's motions up with the music the best I could. Music by Phillip E. Morris.
Screen Print Remix A video I made for my Youtube channel that focuses on screen printing. The goal of this video was to create a backing music track using vocal samples that narrate the process of screen printing. I also wanted to use the various sounds of screen printing, like the sound of a squeegee being pushed across a screen, and incorporate that into the mix.
Artist Spotlight - Kate Carleton (student project) A video I created to showcase a variety of things I have learned, including...
Multicamera editing in Premiere Pro
Use of green screen
Use of 2 digital cameras
3 point lighting
Intro sequence created in After Effects
Other motion graphics created in After Effects
