Fanatics Brands College Bowl Game Hometown Graphics
For the 2024 college football season I was tasked with creating a hometown centered graphic for multiple bowl games. This allowed me to flex my storytelling muscles, because a hometown graphic can be about more than just a simple slogan, it can illustrate a location and tell the story of an event. For these bowl game graphics, I tried to invoke the spirit of the location they take place in. The box panel layout is something that came to me early on in the process. What's interesting about it is it reminds me of comic book panels, which was unintentional at first but appropriate given my background in drawing indie comics. I love the way these came out.
